A couple had been married since 45 long years. They had raised a brood of 11 children and they were blessed with 22 grand children. When I asked them what was the secret behind their marriage for staying together for such a long time. They replied that, long back they had made an agreement that whoever quits the relationship first should take care of all the children.

Hello people who are facing or yet to face the wrath of their spouses. I am ROHAN P.R. to give you all some gyaan on marriage.You might be wondering how on earth can this guy who has not even seen the world properly and doesn’t know what marriage is all about can give us gyaan on marriage.

Well let me assure you one thing I have a lot of experience in this field when compared to you all [p, smile].Recently I finished my PhD i.e. passing with high difficulty on marriage from the institute of saint valentine :) . Guess what ? my thesis was internationally approved by love struck community. Let me give you all just 1 concept of what I have written in my thesis. Well, the most famous question “what is marriage” which has been debated from the time of Mahabharata and no one has yet come up with the right answer till today but I finally after a lot of research found out the right answer that is “marriage is an institution where a man loses his bachelor’s degree and women attains her masters” no offense to womanhood thou;because of my wackiest concept of marriage which happens to be the hard core truth I won the Valentine prize.

I told you all that I have a lot of experience in this filed when compared to you all. You know how that’s because I have counseled 420 couples till now I mean 420 number of couples till now.My so called beautiful adorable quarreling clients who were impressed with my counseling and advice to them have rechristened my name from ROHAN to “LOVE GURU”. Let me give you all an insight on how I turned into love guru. I was happy go bindaas person who enjoyed life minting big money through public speaking n marketing until I met my gf who was really beautiful and intelligent. I was happy with my newly married life and people knew why. But after a couple of years also I was happy with my married life. People wondered why? That was my first step for becoming a love guru.

My wife was talking to her friend PRIYA the other day and I happen to over hear their conversation. This is what my wife had to say. “You know something PRIYA it is I who made my husband a millionaire after he got married to me .PRIYA out of curiosity what was he before. Ma wife chuckling multimillionaire” [p, smile]. At that point of time I realized that a happy marriage is a matter of give and take; the husband gives and wife takes. again no offense to womanhood.

One day I was engrossed in deep meditation thinking how I could help improve people’s married life. The window was closed the curtains were drawn door was shut it was really (2) dark inside. Suddenly my wife came looking for me slammed open the door and switched on the tube light. The moment she switched on the tube light I was enlightened just like BUDDHA was enlightened under a BODHGAYA tree. I realized that love is always present in any relationship. It is just that one loves too much and the other loves too many. I had turned into a “LOVE GURU” all thanks for my wife switching on the tube light.

I would like to conclude my gyaan on marriage by emphasizing that even you all can turn into love guru one day iff you realize the 3 major conditions governing marriage just as IMRAN KHAN had satisfied 3 conditions in jane tu ya jane na
Condition 1: Wife/GF is always right.
If she is wrong slap yourself and read the above line properly.
Condition 2: It doesn’t matter how often a married man changes his job he still ends up with the same boss.
Condition 3: Never ever argue with your wife/GF. If you have some words with her she will have paragraphs with you.

5 P's that'll change ur LIFE

BRIAN TRACY says “Leadership is the ability to get extraordinary achievement from ordinary people”.

Leadership is a popular topic today. Many people have different views about it. And many books have been written on this topic say “The Agile Manager’s Guide to Leadership” by “WALTER
J.WADSWORTH”.

According to ROBIN SHARMA Leadership has nothing to do with the title on your business card or the size of your office. Leadership is not about how much money you make or the clothes you wear. Leadership is a philosophy. It's an attitude. It's a state of mind. And it's available to each one of you reading this.. You don’t need the charisma or communication skills of former U.S. President Ronald Regan or Sam Walton to lead.

Good leaders can be quiet, gruff, friendly, talkative, and shy or any other human trait you can name including those you have right now. For e.g. look at one of history’s great business leaders, Henry Ford. If you have ever seen a film clip of Ford, you know for firsthand how hard it was for him to speak to a group of people.

By now you might be wondering then what the characteristics of a leader. Well to mention a few they are dynamic daring dashing planner’s motivator’s critical thinkers and so on. I was reading a couple of books on this topic and I thought that these 5 P’s of leadership will definitely help you all become good leaders in your domain of work

The 1st P is Pay Attention to What’s Important: Time management courses, strategy books, and management gurus all will tell you that there’s lot that’s not really important. Your job as a leader is to concentrate on what’s most important so that it gets taken care of. Then let the rest of the stuff take care of itself. Vilfredo Pareto was an Italian Economist and Sociologist in the late 19th century. He formulated something he called "The Law of the Unequal Distribution of Results." You probably know it as the 80/20 rule. All the 80/20 rules says is that there’s 20% of the stuff you do that gets you 80% of the results. The trick is finding that 20%. Once you’ve found it you then have to pay attention to it. Therefore a leader's mind is like an eagle's eye always ready to catch that 20%.

The 2nd P is Praise What You Want to Continue: Praise is your best training tool. In technical terms, praise is a positive consequence that follows a positive action. It’s a reward for something done right. Use praise to get people to continue to do things or to take positive action. For e.g. praise your colleagues or friends whenever they do a good turn. This will boost their energy to do more number of good turn’s .So "Praise is a beautiful rose that must be given to everyone.

The 3rd P is Punish What You Want to Stop: Punishment is the mirror image of praise. It’s a negative consequence that follows negative behavior. As the saying goes “the good shall be rewarded and the unjust shall be punished in proportion to their deeds." Punishment – negative consequences – is the tool you use to get people to stop stuff. It was Mark Twain who said, "A cat who sits on a hot stove will never sit on a hot stove again. But he won’t sit on a cold stove either.

The 4th P is Pay For the Results : You Want one of my friends was managing distribution and customer service centers He happened to compliment one of the customer service reps. She immediately turned around to him and said, "Don’t just tell me, show me, payday is Friday." Pay is one of the tangible ways you can reward people for doing good stuff. It’s another form of praise in visible, tangible form. Don’t limit your thinking about pay to just money, though. Pay people with time off, recognition, choice assignments, small gifts, and special bonuses to encourage the behavior you want. Corporate travel agent Rosenbluth International for e.g. has a single guiding value: Put employees first. CEO Hal Rosenbluth even wrote a book called “The customer comes second”. The idea is that if you keep your people happy, they’ll keep customers happy.

The 5th P is Promote People Who Deliver the Results You Want: This one just makes sense. The problem is that lots of organizations forget about it. They maintain reward and promotion systems that reward the old behavior, even while they’re trumpeting the new behavior in memo’s, meetings, and executive retreats. Always “Promote People Who Deliver the Results You Want” for e.g. I am a national level basket ball player. I played for my school team in main 5. I helped them win a lot of trophies in many tournaments. During the last 2 yrs of schooling I was made the captain of the team. They had promoted me since I delivered the results they wanted

If you apply these 5P's of leadership i.e. "to pay attention to what’s important, praise what you want to continue, punish what you want to stop, pay for the results you want, and promote the people who deliver those results" in your day to day life I am sure you all will become a leader like "Dr Ralph C Smedley & GANDHIJI " one day or the other.

PUT SOME FIRE IN YOUR DESIRE

Vincent T Lombardi said “The difference b/w a successful person and others is not lack of strength, not lack of knowledge, but rather in lack of desire”

Have U been to a seminar? Did you get some very useful, info, new challenges etc. The average person comes away from a meeting and (hopefully, if it is a dynamic speaker) says “Wow that is great, I’m going to change this and do that!” No! It is like going to that seminar and then putting the material or workbook on your shelf and never looking at it again.

Do you use a body spray/deodorant? What happens when you use it .It smells great however over time, it wears off, and next day you smell lousy again, of course that is if you did not bathe! that's when your "AXE" effect comes into picture. My dear friends most times Motivation does the same thing..It lasts for about 24 hours and slowly wears off

One of the key to success is your self motivation-A burning desire that drives us every day to change the world and destiny! It is our desire for a better life, better growth and better future.

Desire is sure a word, but it is much richer than the word “want” though they are essentially the same. “Want”, though, sounds like you could take it or leave it. “Desire” says, “I have to have it!”Desire, is “want” with a fire under it.

One day we may be passionate about building our career or nurturing our relationship and then, the next day, we find ourselves in the “want” camp again. The key to keeping on is to re-light the fire under want so it roars into a raging fire of desire. As Swami Vivekananda says”All power is within you; you can do anything and everything. Believe in that; do not believe that you are weak. Stand up and express the divinity within you” So what do we do? Simple we light the fire! So to build the fire of your desire we essentially require just 3 things.

1st is The WOOD: Keep a clear mental picture of the goal. The picture of the goal is like the wood in a fire. It is the raw material. Know what your goal is and what it looks like.

2nd is The FUEL: Keep a list, if simply just a mental one, of all of the benefits of pursuing and reaching your goal. Make them as “sense” oriented as possible. “See” the benefits.”Hear” them.”Touch” them. This is like the fuel that we add to a fire to get it going

3rd is The MATCH: Keep yourself active! This is the match: Action! Even when you don’t feel like it, get yourself to act and soon you will see the fire burning because you have ignited the dream! The more desire you have the more the fire burns.

Next time when you go for a seminar just remember 3 things. 1st: Define your goal cos a goal without a plan is a wish. 2nd: Take small steps and celebrate small success. 3rd: Practice (3) cos practice makes man perfect.

Eventually the fire will begin to die out. Here is where you throw the wood again, pour some more fuel, and if needed, strike another match. Don’t let the fire go out though, because it is easier to continually throw wood and fuel on an already burning fire than it is to start one up again.

After reading this blog the next time you all go to a seminar, don’t just go home and say “This will work, I can do it!”Have a plan,(Write it down read it again and again keep telling yourself it will happen it is happening follow your plan (check it out see the destination and keep working towards it) and Slowly but surely see your goal change to reality.

Remember: “The idea is 10% and the implementation is 90%, but you cannot teach pigs to fly no matter how long the runway is” Keep the fire on.

Well i am kind of a marketing freak u may say i love talking n marketing stuff :) as well as myself lol. One day i wish to be the marketing guru in this corporate world a far fetched dream thou,but i ll do it 1 day. Well coming to my 2nd blog it is also about marketing itself :). I was reading a book other day and i thought that i must share with u all how a Professor at IIM-A explains marketing tactics. (I think most of you would ve read this)

You are at a party and see a gorgeous girl. She walks up to you and says, "You are very rich.." That's Brand Recognition

How 2 B Rich n Famous in dis Rat Race

An old adage says "it's not what you know,it's who you know." Lets take a diff angle at it as "It's not what you know,but who knows you". Making your name known is the key to achieving success n finding new clients i.e. growing ur n/w :).

Speaking of making your name known. D best way is 2 bcum entrepreneur or start your own network marketing company ya any damn company rather dan joinng d existing ones. Say i want 2 b like Bill Gates ya Narayan Murthy rather dan joining dere company no offence thou. I'm sure u ll develop contacts n also money very soon :-). it is the short cut n fastest way 2 earn wealth, thou u ve a struggle period initially .Oh come on in every walk of life u ll ve struggle period ,n so does dis 1 .But it is unique. u get 2 b rich n famous also lol .i m sure every1 wants dis kind of lyf style is it not ?don't lie i bet u will want 2 :)

Well how do u bcum famous n rich. Well dere is sumthng called d "RECOGNITION FACTOR" which says suthng like this "This is how ppl think: If i ve not heard of u, u can't b very gud". how true dis 1 is.So the secret to bcum succes is u must market urself as the Expert. For e.g. whn u goin 4 placements/interviews don't give a damn abt ur marks if it is low jus, project urself in a manner ,so that ,dey ll ve no othr option dan choosing u ovr d person who has better grades. Me not a geek either. i m jus a 7 ptr tryng 2 influence every1 2 bcum Gates ya Murthy lol :) Remember don't believe in the myth dat if u do gud work ya get gud grades, new business ya job ll land 2 ur door step
So summarizing d whole thing

• determine a positioning strategy that'll differentiate u 4m every1 else in ur category
• do ur home work 2 find out whom u should market 2 n wat dey want 4m ur profession
  
• Finally ppl only believe u r gud if dey ve heard of u
